What is the difference between the five processing options?+
They trade off device requirements against output quality: Cloud works instantly on any device but only replaces the background with a solid color; Light, Standard, Precise, and Flagship all run entirely in your browser and produce a true transparent PNG — Light is fastest, Standard and Precise get progressively cleaner, and Flagship gives the best quality but is heavy, sometimes taking 30 seconds to a couple of minutes.
Does my photo get uploaded to a server?+
Only with the Cloud tier. Light, Standard, Precise, and Flagship process the image entirely inside your browser and never send it anywhere.
Do I get a transparent background or a solid color?+
Cloud outputs a solid color background. Light, Standard, Precise, and Flagship output a real transparent PNG with an alpha channel.
How long does each tier take?+
Light usually finishes in about a second. Standard and Precise take longer, especially on older hardware. Flagship is the heaviest — even on strong hardware it can take 30 seconds to a couple of minutes, plus a larger one-time model download. Cloud usually takes 20-40 seconds regardless of your device, since the work happens on a server.
What image formats are supported?+
JPG, PNG, WEBP, BMP and other common formats are supported as input.
Are my photos saved or used for training?+
For Light/Standard/Precise/Flagship, your photo never leaves your device, so there is nothing to save or train on. For Cloud, the image is sent to a third-party AI provider for processing; please avoid uploading sensitive personal photos with that tier.
